Just a breath away from the official closure of the project, SIA-ProD partners met again in the vibrant city of Thessaloniki, Greece, to disseminate the project achievements during ECEERA Conference 2019 that was well-attended by almost 1000 participants. Members of SIA-ProD consortium along with academics, researchers, students and teachers from all over the world spent four days attending an academic event of motivating keynote speeches and interesting presentations and posters that mirrored the theme of this year’s conference: Early Years: Making it Count @ SIA-ProD Partnership Contribution to ECERA 2019 in Thessaloniki, Greece “SIA-ProD project: Development of the Teacher Self-Assessment Assistant (TSAA)”.   (altro…)

The SIA-ProD online tool was the highlight of the skype meeting organised by CARDET on 4th June 2019, between 16:00-17:00 in the afternoon. Processes were clarified and the next steps to be taken were discussed. The online tool will provide self-assessment and self-improvement possibilities for educators teaching physical activities in early years contexts. It is anticipated that the tool will be ready to use in the early days of school year 2019-2020. The online tool will be made available from SIA-ProD website.

During the 6th SIA-ProD partners’ meeting, hosted by The University of Cyprus, in Nicosia, Cyprus, between 7th – 8th March 2019, the partnership welcomed the new leader of the project, Dr Michalis Linardakis, UoC. Dr Linardakis is talking a leading role over the last months of SIA-ProD life-cycle, replacing Dr Vasilis Grammatikopoulos who is appointed to a new academic position in another University in Greece. The SIA-ProD consortium wished all the best to the partners in there new roles!

The 6th SIA-ProD partners’ meeting was hosted by The University of Cyprus, in Nicosia, Cyprus, between 7th – 8th March 2019. During the meeting, the partners discussed the achievements of the project so far (e.g. processes and results of implementations, dissemination, etc.) and decided on the following steps. The next partnership meeting with take place in Germany, in June 2019, whereas the multiplier events of the project will take place in all partner-countries, between April 2019 – August 2019.

In the course of the 6th SIA-ProD partners’ meeting held in Nicosia, the leading organisation had a meeting with CARDET ICT/ Designers’ Team, who are responsible for SIA-ProD website, at CARDET headquarters. The agenda focused on the automatized process and product which are anticipated to foster early educators’s self-evaluation and self-improvement in SIA-PRoD chore topics. Early educators will be able to access the automatic tool for self-evaluation/ improvement purposes in the last days of the project’s life-cycle. The tool will be available from the SIA-ProD website

In the course of the 5th SIA-ProD partners’ meeting, held at The Aristotle University, Thessaloniki, Greece, between 4th – 5th October 2018, the third research training took place, which was well-attended by Greek trainees and partners’ staff members. In line with the training held in Italy, in September 2017 and in Cyprus, in January 2018, Dr Athanasios Gregoriadis (AUTH) and Dr Vasilis Grammatikopoulos (UoC) discussed with the trainees issues regarding SIA-ProD O4: Self-improvement phase, smoothening the way for the next implementations.

The 5th SIA-ProD partners’ meeting was successfully held in Thessaloniki, Greece, between 4th – 5th October 2018. In the meeting, hosted by The Aristotle University SIA-ProD partners’ team, the partnership reviewed the project entering the final year of implementations. Partners discussed the achievements of the project so far (e.g. implementations, dissemination, etc.) and clarified the procedures and steps to be followed.

The 4th SIA-ProD partners’ meeting, held at Classic Hotel, Nicosia, Cyprus, between 25th – 26th January 2018, ended with a social activity in the context of which partners took the chance to be complimentary guided to the old town of Nicosia.

In the course of the 4th SIA-ProD partners’ meeting, held at Classic Hotel in Nicosia, Cyprus, between 25th – 26th January 2018, the second research training took place, which was well-attended by Cypriot and Greek trainees and partners’ staff members. Dr Athanasios Gregoriadis (AUTH) and Dr Vasilis Grammatikopoulos (UoC) introduced the trainees and SIA-ProD consortium to the training activities (O4: Self-improvement phase). To be more specific, similarly to the training held in Italy in September 2017, the organisers delivered a-three-parts enlightening training experience on how to use the evaluation scale by the use of scenarios and videos, in the context of SIA-ProD O4: Self-improvement phase.
